スペースアクセス05が開催

米アリゾナ州フェニックスにおいて4月28日から30日までの間、スペー
スアクセス2005年度大会(Space Access '05)が開催される。
この大会を主催するSpace Access Societyは宇宙へ行くコストを下げ
る事を目的に設立された団体で、毎年、宇宙輸送関連企業や政府関係
者、著名人を集め大会を開催している。

今大会には、XCOR Aerospace社やArmadillo Aerospace社、 Rocketplane社のようなサブオービタルビークルの開発を行っている企業から、X PRIZE CupやSpace Frontier Foundationのような宇宙旅行を推進している団体、Space Adventuresのような宇宙旅行企業、また米下院やFAA ASTの代表なども参加する。

SpaceShipOneの成功以来、盛り上がり続ける米宇宙旅行業界において、活発な活動を展開する企業や団体が多数参加し、白熱した議論が行われるものと思われる。
